	Master Chris Yaeger is a Deer Park High School graduate who began his Martial Arts training at a very young age.  Master Yaeger has been around Martial Arts his whole life; his father was involved with one of the first Martial Arts schools in the Houston area.  He has over 30 years of Martial Arts experience and holds black belts in 6 different styles.  He has cross trained in many other styles, won many awards and has been inducted into numerous Halls of Fame.
	Master Yaeger has a passion for teaching that has become stronger and stronger through the years.  He opened his first Martial Arts school in 1989 and is dedicated to educating his community on the value and life long skills obtained by Martial Arts training.  Self Defense America of Deer Park is owned and operated by Master Yaeger along with his wife, Master Christy Yaeger, daughter Tiffany and son Logan.
His achievements include the following:
2005 Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame’s Outstanding Master of the Year in Tang Soo Do and Combat Hapkido
2005 Budo International Hall of Fame in La Guardia, New York as Master of the Year
2002 Action Martial Arts Magazine’s Hall of Fame for the Spirit Award
2001 received Master Instructor of the Year award from the International Combat Hapkido Federation
1997 inducted into the Texas Martial Arts Hall of Fame for Master Instructor of the Year
